The Honourable V. J. Bird (MLA) Minister for Education opened Kingston State College in 1977.

For over 47 years, Kingston State College has been a cornerstone of education in the Kingston and Logan communities. Our College spans two vibrant campuses: a Years 7– 12 State High School and the Kingston Learning College, a highly respected Re- Engagement Centre. The Learning College operates on a flexible quarterly enrolment model, supporting students in Years 9–12 to complete academic subjects and vocational education pathways that lead to meaningful future opportunities.

Our core goal is for every student to achieve their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), with both campuses offering pathways toward the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) in alignment with QCAA guidelines.

Located in the heart of Kingston, Logan City, our College features expansive grounds and recently upgraded facilities. We proudly serve a diverse student population.

Kingston State College is a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every student is valued, known, and guided to achieve their best.
