Kingston State College has strong support from school families through the Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C).
We also foster close ties with local businesses and community groups to give our students the best possible 'real world' experiences and training.
Parents & Citizens' Association
The Kingston State College P&C is responsible for running the school tuckshop and the uniform shop. Members of the P&C are present on school committees such as the School Council, Uniform, Tuckshop and other decision-making bodies within the school. The P&C also has representatives on the regional Queensland Council of Parents and Citizens' Association (QCPCA).
Tuckshop
The school tuckshop is open from 8.00am each morning and closes at the end of second lunch.
The tuckshop caters for both the High School population and the Adult Learning Centre (via an ordering system). The tuckshop varies its menus with the seasons but always offers a healthy alternative. The tuckshop offers both hot and cold selections.
Uniform shop
The uniform shop is open Wednesdays and Fridays from 8.00am to 9.30am throughout the year. At the beginning of the year the uniform shop is open longer hours including the school holidays to allow purchase of uniforms.
