The Kingston State College Parents and Citizens' (P&C) committee is responsible for running the school tuckshop and the uniform shop. Members of the P&C are present on school committees such as the School Council, Uniform, Tuckshop and other decision-making bodies within the school. The P&C also has representatives on the regional Queensland Council of Parents and Citizens Association (QCPCA).
This association of parents and interested citizens meets once a month. Our usual meeting time is the third Tuesday of each month at 5.30pm. Meetings are held in the staff common room in the administration block.
The P&C Association represents the opinions and wishes of parents to the school staff and has a strong input into school planning and programs. Through the school canteen and the uniform shop, the P&C Association provides financial support for a wide variety of school projects.
