Year 8 ACE students, Joanna Gamido and Yusro Muhudin participated in the Logan STEAM into STEM fair held at Logan Griffith University at Meadowbrook. They entered in the Science investigation category and worked diligently on a solar cooker project over the term.
Both girls had a fabulous day and thoroughly enjoyed talking with the judges and other guests that were present at the fair. They very confidently explained to the judges how their solar cooker worked and the scientific principles involved in the proper functioning of the solar cooker. The girls also had so much fun participating in the Science on the Go show and were so fascinated by the dry ice and liquid nitrogen experiments.
