It has been a few weeks since my last update unfortunately.
The cold weather has set in now for the long term; the days are still warm but the mornings are quite chilly. Students have been accessing our uniform pool - the loan jackets have been very popular! The new winter pullover should be in stock by the end of the term.
Students will be now entering the critical assessment stage of the term. Most students will have drafts for assignments due in the next week. I encourage you to speak with you child to see how they are progressing. If you get the typical teenager response of "I don't know" I encourage you to contact your child's teacher via email. If you do not have teacher email addresses feel free to contact the office and we will be able to assist. We aiming to have all of students submit work to at least a "C" standard.
Today, our Decasonic choir competed at the Choral Fanfare competition and were judged to be the recipients of a Platinum award! This is a great reward for Ms. Chauvier and her students who rehearse before school and during breaks every day.
Finally, we are currently conducting our enrolemnt process for 2024 year 7. We have a number of scholarships available and the opportunity to apply for the extension program (Reach class). Please contact our office should you wish to receive more information on these programs.
